As natural seasons change from winter to spring, so do the seasons in our lives change. We move from one phase to the other from one life season to the next.
Just as we see changes in nature with fallen leaves, the earlier rising and the later setting of the sun so do the changes in our lives reflect itself and show us our change.
You don’t think the same, you don’t react the same, you don’t move the same.
Although winter feels long, difficult and isolating it allows us to let go of the people, places, and things that no longer serve us just as the trees wither and the flowers die. There are things within us that need to die in the winter of our lives. Things that have no place that serve no purpose and that will only hold you back. Winter is cold and long but when Spring comes around you feel the warmth of change and the birth of something new.

As we move through life and transition from one phase to the next, sometimes the shift is gentle and feels almost effortless, other times it is harsh and forces you to change and let go of things that you’ve become so accustomed to letting go of it almost feels unnatural. But in those moments it is important to remind yourself that change is inevitable and the only constant in life. So embrace it and do not fear it though it may sometimes bring discomfort and spark some anxiety it is the only true path to transformation and growth.
The Bible says in Romans 12 verse 2 “Be transformed by the renewal of your mind”. It is in our minds, perspectives, and thoughts that we change first, transitioning from the old into the new from winter to spring and from spring to summer. The brain is one of the most powerful and impactful organisms in the human body, why? Because it controls everything else, and tells it how to function and when to do what. That is how powerful your mind is so use it to grow yourself and not limit yourself. So in seasons of change and uncertainty and growth renew your mind, change your thinking, and plant seeds of goodness so they can grow into greatness.

So embrace the change of season and the shift in transition from where you were, where you are now, and where you are headed. Don’t rush it or wish it away but be present in the current moment knowing that all things happen for a reason you are responsible for how you shift through seasons in your life and how you navigate the change whether good or bad that presents itself as you are transitioning.
Remember that change is the only constant and with that comes shifts, seasons, and transitions. To be the best version of yourself you must go through what is to be prepared and ready for what is coming.
Seasons change and so do you.
